Predicting the US Elections

Another opportunity to test the wisdom of the crowd is upon us.

I am writing this at 7:33am PST, and the polls in the US mid-term elections are open. Right now, the InTrade contract for GOP control of the House is trading at around 20. The InTrade contract for GOP control of the Senate is trading at around 69. Over at TradeSports, it is trading at essentially the same place.

It'll be interesting to see, once again, how well these prediction markets work. We'll find out in a few hours.
